Our profession can appear to be full of burned-out, depressed and destructive people telling us what success is. Your gut knows it's bullshit. But you don’t know what to do about it.
5 lies we accept in our profession:
1. You have to grind all the time.
2. If you are not busy, you’re lazy.
3. You must be available 24/7.
4. Money will make you happy.
5. Asking for help is weakness.
Let’s reclaim the law as a noble profession.
A significant portion of the legal profession is burned out, depressed, and purposeless. The negative consequences range from the scourge of self-medicating with alcohol, prescription and street drugs, to disconnecting from families and communities, to sub-optimal work for clients.

Here’s what my clients have to say:
“John is a fantastic coach! He's extremely thoughtful and an intense listener, which enables him to ask perceptive, pointed questions that that lead to a plan of specific actions after every session. If you want to improve your management skills at any level in the org chart, I highly recommend working with John!”
